The concept of earning and learning is driven foremost by how robust the industry connections are for the students. These experiences are paramount to the success of students and expanding the relevancy of work to learning through those experiences. Students are encouraged to seek opportunities to explore occupations using real time labor market data and to develop a personalized professional development plan aligned with current job openings as well as their interests, skills and capabilities. Experiences are coordinated using a web-based platform to solicit the participation of employers in WBL experiences. A central repository of all employers will act as a mechanism to monitor their level of commitment, openings as well as the number of WBL offerings and student experiences completed by the employer partner.
